Ice Cream Cake With Ladyfingers Recipe
An Easy recipe for yummy ice cream cake with ladyfingers topped with a chocolate drizzle.
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup milk
1 rectangle cardboard packaged chocolate ice cream
1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted.
Preheat oven to 350degrees F lightly grease a 9 x 13 cake pan
To bake the cake,In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Finally stir in the milk until batter is smooth.
Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30 to 40 minute. Let cool completely
Set out your ice cream. that is a rectangle block and comes in cardboard. Dont let the ice cream melt just let it get soft.
Tear away the cardboard. Cut the ice cream in half long ways.
Place one slice of ice cream on the cake. Cut the cake to the size of the ice cream chunk.
Arrange the lady fingers over the top and sides of cake with ice cream.
Drizzle with melted chocolate.
Cover cake with wax paper. Place in the freezer until ready to serve.
