Chocolate Mounds Recipe

These chocolate mounds are made from melted chocolate chips, peanut butter and hazelnuts, but you could use any type of nut or cornflakes or even coconut in the mix.


3/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 1/2 cups chopped hazelnuts
(Makes 12-15)


Line a baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper.

Melt the chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler or in a heat proof bowl over a pan of hot water.

Remove from the heat and stir in the peanut butter.

Stir in the hazelnuts.

Use a tablespoon to spoon on the mounds. Let them cool and harden for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator before eating.
